Being a doula and birth photographer I get to observe birth from a unique angle. Every woman responds to labour differently. Some internalize. Most vocalize. Some want lots present, some want none present.
And some just want to laugh. I had the honour of being present for little "C"s birth and boy did his mama make it seem fun! It was one of those moments where even medical professionals were looking at her like "you can't be in active labour" and then checked, "8 cm." Well then. Birth was her game and coping was her fame.
